No bell ringer.  Today we cleaned out our folders and looked for missing assignments.  Next we worked on a Roller Coaster lab where students built coasters using plastic tubing.  When they were finished they worked on a couple online roller coaster simulations.  See roller coaster 1,2, and 3 on my website: https://sites.google.com/site/msdamarjian/physics-1,

April 19/20

Today we played review games to get ready for the CRT. No make up necessary.

CRT PRACTICE TEST

A-DAY DUE 4/23 BY 8 AM
B-DAY DUE 4/24 BY 8 AM
Complete this test with a 75% or higher for 20 extra credit points.  You may take it as many times as you want.

Today we turned in our bell ringers.  Next we reviewed for the CRT's.  Here is a copy of the notes (sorry the formatting was messed up when I converted it to a google doc-it is still readable just kind of messy).

April 6th/16

Bell Ringer:  Draw a roller coaster and label where the kinetic and potential energy is the greatest.
Today we discussed kinetic and potential energy and then we did a pendulum lab.  See me to make up the lab.

April 4/5

Bell Ringer:  List the 6 types of simple machines.
First we took notes using this power point.  Then we did a lever and inclined plane lab.  Last of all we discussed friction.
