May 1/2

A1-We were so lucky to have Professor Bergeson come and teach our class!  He taught us about buoyancy and we did an activity where we determined the lift of a helium balloon and then students had to calculate how many balloons they would need to lift a stuffed animal.  Then they lifted their animals using balloons.  Last of all we began building tissue paper hot air balloons that we will launch next time.  No make up-sorry!
A4 and B20-  Sorry my lesson wasn't as fun as Professor Bergeson's, but we still had fun!  First we talked about Newton's laws of motion and we did some activities involving inertia.  Last of all we went outside and launched solar balloons.  No make up.
