1)Bell Ringer:

• List the parts of an atom.
• Look at Hydrogen on the periodic table and answer the following:
• Atomic #:
• Atomic Mass:
• Atomic Symbol:
• Number of protons:
• Number of neutrons:
• Number of electrons:

2) First we took some notes on atoms (get a packet from me).

3) Next, we completed "What's in an atom?" (in packet)

4) Then we worked on drawing Bohr models of atoms (in packet)

5) Last of all we began our element reports.  Students were assigned an element to research.  Here are some helpful sites for researching your element:
